Being a native Pittsburgher, and still living in the Greater Pittsburgh area, I suppose I should have taken exception to Sienna Miller's recent reference to tis city as "Sh**sburgh". But I didn't. It's not that I am lacking in civic pride, it's just that I believe that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. I hate peas. There. Now that's out there for all the world to see. Am I going to be swamped by farmers demanding an apology or retraction? Geez, I hope not. My point is it is MY opinion. Who really cares what I think? Does the average Pittsburgher really care what Sienna Miller thinks? Before this statement was made in Rolling Stone magazine, the average Pittsburgher wasn't even aware of Sienna Miller's existence. Hell, before this incident, the average Pittsburgher wasn't even aware of Rolling Stone magazine's existence. I'm sure the subcribtion department at Rolling Stone will verify that. As for me, all I knew of Sienna Miller was she was just another woman who stupidly took her man back after he cheated on her. Then there was an "incident" at a local bar. Supposedly Ms. Miller raised some sort of ruckus at this place. Of course the only witnesses are the bar's bouncer and manager. And now they are selling souvenier t-shirts. Now, the only way the media would have gotten wind of this "incident" is if either the bouncer and/or manager called them to report it. "Lookie, Ma! I'm on the Tee Vee!"
Thank you for your time.
