If you listened to "Opie and Anthony" this morning, you may as well stop reading now. I'm pretty much going to be repeating what they said between 8:30 and 9-ish. Airlines are always saying they have to cut flights because they're sending too many half empty planes up. I'm not a regular traveler but I've been on plenty of flights. Not once, ever, have I been on a plane with an empty seat. In fact, I don't think I've ever been on a flight that was not "over booked". How do you over book a flight? All you have to do is count the number of seats on a plane and sell that many tickets. Right? It can't be any more complicated than that. It's not like a ball game where you can buy standing room tickets. So I guess when the airlines say their planes are half empty, their talking about that space between the passengers heads on the ceiling of the plane.
Thank you for your time.

There is a park near my home. Just about every morning I go to this park and walk a couple of miles on the hiking trails. I prefer the hiking trails to the walking trails because there are fewer people to encounter. Most days I have the trails to myself. But not always. On the rare occasion when I come across a fellow human being, they are usually accompanied by a dog. Even though the law says these dogs MUST be on a leash, they almost always are not. And when the dog inevitably runs up to me, sniffing my hands, my crotch, whatever...the owner ALWAYS says the same thing....."I'm so sorry, he never did that before." OK. It must be me then. Every dog in the world is attracted to me and only me. When I politely mention that Fido is supposed to be leashed I'm told something like "I don't expect anyone to be here this early in the morning." So, I guess that means it's OK to break the law before 8 a.m.? And don't get me started on the "clean up after your dog" law that is obviously ignored by every dog walker in the park. I'm not here to talk about that shit. I just wanted to say that there is no such thing a totally trained and tame animal. At some point during a domesticated animals life, instinct will kick in. Not might...will. It's hard to believe that people believe they can totally control a mindless animal when we can't even control fully functioning human beings. If we could then we wouldn't need prisons, psychiatric hospitals or separate bars for bikers.
Keep those little sons of bitches on a leash, scoop that poop and stay off of my trails.
Thank you for your time.
